There is nothing quite like Valentine’s Day in the corporate setting–it’s unlike any other atmosphere, and is usually full of both joy and heartbreak.

As I said, I make no resolutions, mostly because I don’t like to make promises that I can’t keep. So instead I make a few goals that I think are attainable.
I know you are waiting with bated breath, so without further beating around the beaten-to-death proverbial bush, here are the things in my life for which I am grateful.
Amazing, what with all the animals in my house, but true. I can’t even blame any of them for this mishap (unlike when I fell down the basement stairs 13 years ago after tripping over a cat–I broke my tailbone and nearly broke my arm) and then a year later rammed my little toe & side of left foot into the corner of the cedar chest outside my bedroom door after swerving around the same cat who ran across my path at the wrong time).
