Blog Tour de Troops!

Click here to donate toward Kindles for our troops!

Welcome to the Blog Tour de Troops, an event organized by the awesome Indie Book Collective to benefit our troops. The steamy, sexy blog before mine is Eliza Gayle and the blog following mine with the kick-butt book covers is Gary Ponzo. If you get lost along the way, return to the IBC homebase and hop right back in.

Why read indie? Because indie authors bring you unique tales, fantastic writing, and GREAT prices.

And no price is greater than FREE! Yes, I said FREE. I will give away a copy of my e-book, Malakh, to everyone who comments on this blog post through Monday. Not only that, every unique commenter scores a free e-book for a troop. Now THAT rocks!

Why am I doing this? Not only because there is extraordinary talent amongst the indie authors and we’re breaking free of the stigma of being “self-published,” but because I want to thank the men and women of our military for their service to our country and for keeping our nation safe–and FREE. I was an Air Force brat, and I know the sacrifices military personnel make for their country–in salary, in time, and in their own personal safety.

There’s more FREE to be had, too–just follow the blog-hop to gather your free e-books. As if that’s not enough, there’s a chance to win a Kindle–not only for you, but a troop too! Don’t forget to check out the list of authors and donors involved in the Blog Tour de Troops.

But don’t hop away until you get your free ebook of Malakh. Be brave, like our troops, and give indie a try. Wanna know if I’m worth it? See the 5-star review at The Romanceaholic.

Leave your comments on this blog post along with your e-mail address (so I can contact you with your coupon code). You can specify the soldier of your choice to receive a copy as well, or one will be selected randomly by Blog Tour de Troops.

Courage is not the absence of fear; courage is the decision that there’s something more important than fear. The troops display this everyday. Thank God for that.

Thank you also that you’re offering them a free book to read to escape for a few moments.

I have several family members (father, husband, brother, cousins, and uncles) who are either retired or active military. I think this is such an awesome idea! I know that some soldiers have nothing to do but read when they are stationed overseas so I’m sure this will be very much appreciated! I can’t wait to read all of the wonderful books that are being given away and will be happy to review each and every one. Thanks to each of the 35 authors who are contributing books.
