Desire Raging Uncontrolled

autumnlvs1lgStop.

Listen.

Do you hear the sound

of desire raging uncontrolled?

Pulsing blood,

racing heart,

the heat of your flesh

against my soft surrender.

Do you steal furtive kisses

when my eyes are closed

and slumber cradles me

in its adulterous arms?

Stop.

Listen.

Do you hear it—

the sound of deep, abiding commitment?

Ageless as a primeval forest,

scented crisp as an autumn day.

Do you see the colors when you close your eyes—

gold, crimson, rust and ocher—

the colors of choosing eternity

with me?

Stop.

Listen.

Do you hear me loving you?
